Alan Heckler founded the law firm in 1978, through which he practiced exclusively in the area of immigration, nationality, and consular law. Alan offered a unique breadth of immigration counseling services throughout the United States and worldwide. He earned prominence in this field, serving as counsel to multinational corporations, medium and small businesses, public and private institutions, educational facilities, families, and individuals.
Jenna Heckler exclusively practices immigration law, which is focused on employment, investment, and family-based immigration matters. Jenna has successfully assisted clients as they navigate some of the most challenging areas of law, including 0-1, EB-1, National Interest Waiver (NIW), EB-5, E-2, H-1B, L-1, and immigration petitions. Jenna serves as counsel to emerging businesses, multinational corporations, public and private institutions, educational facilities, investors, families, and individuals. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the New Jersey Bar Association.
Jake Kimmelman has been practicing law exclusively in the areas of personal injury, no-fault, medical malpractice, and workers compensation. His areas of experience include car accidents, slip-and-falls, trip-and-falls and other work and catastrophic personal related injuries.
Patricia Pole has been a Paralegal with our firm since 2007. Starting in our New Jersey Office, she now manages the California office and is enjoying the west coast lifestyle. Patricia is a dedicated worker, and has strong research, interpersonal, and computer skills. Patricia's experience is extensive and includes immigration law and estate planning. She is a California Notary and holds a California real estate license. Earlier in her career, she worked as an Executive Assistant in the entertainment industry on both the east and west coasts. She is an avid reader and loves to travel and spend time with her family on both the east and ‘ west coasts.
Sue Patel is an experienced immigration specialist with more than 20 years of corporate immigration experience. She has supported Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized organizations, and individual clients across a wide range of employment-based immigration matters. Sue's background includes extensive work with PERM labor certifications, nonimmigrant visa filings, immigrant petitions, adjustment of status, and consular processing, but her main expertise and love now lies with PERM labor certifications. Sue began her career at Baker McKenzie and later worked at Vedder Price, where she gained experience managing high-volume immigration matters for multinational clients. Sue previously served on the Board of the Illinois Paralegal Association for more than a decade and now sits on the AILA Paralegal Advisory Committee. She is a Wisconsin Notary Public and fluent in Gujarati. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University and an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate from Roosevelt University.
